Patrol Division
The Patrol Division within the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office is broken down into four shifts, each shift being run by a patrol sergeant. There are currently28 deputies assigned to all four shifts. Coverage is provided 24hrs a day, 7 days a week.
Patrol deputies have many different functions including but not limited to: calls for service, accident investigation, assist travelers, making arrests, appearing in court, paper service, public relations, writing reports, and checking on various communities within our County.
Within the Patrol division we have a K9 unit composed of two K9 deputies. Their expertise is narcotics, evidence recovery, explosives, tracking, and accelerants.
Jasper County is one of the few counties in the state to provide an animal control officer to its citizens. He handles everything from abuse and neglect to property disputes.
The Jasper County Sheriff’s Office presently contracts 3 deputies to full time patrol duty within the Village of Airport Drive. These deputies provide needed law enforcement services to this busy and striving community.
Patrol deputies conduct routine traffic enforcement along County roadways and enforce criminal laws of the United States, State of Missouri, and County of Jasper.
