Warrants

The Warrants Division is comprised of one Sergeant, two Corporals, ten Warrants Officers and one Warrants Clerk. Each Warrants Officer is a certified M.U.L.E.S operator.

The primary functions of the Warrants Division are:

  • Warrant Processing and Maintenance
  • Administrative Support for Investigations, Patrol, Transportation and Detention
  • Sex Offender Registration
  • Order of Protection Processing and Maintenance

In addition to coordinating the booking process with the Booking and Detention Officers, Warrants Officers are responsible for helping update and maintain the Jail Management System known as CODY. All Warrants Officers are Missouri Highway Patrol MULES (Missouri Uniformed Law Enforcement Systems) certified.

Warrants Officers maintain approximately 4000 active Warrants for Jasper County. This includes the entering of approximately 2100 warrants and 2100 orders of protection per year and processing an average of 280 bonds per month. The Warrants Division is also responsible for the registering and maintaining records for over 300 Sex Offenders in Jasper County. The overall records entered and maintained in the MSHP System equals to over 450,000 transactions per month in MULES/NCIC.
